Anyone around?

anyone in Tokyo that knows of any rad underground indie bands for me to check out or that would like to hit a livehouse with me sometime, drop me an e-mail. so long as I'm not broke I'm always game to check out new stuff~~

i went to go see another event at 新宿Marble tonight and found a couple new awesome bands, as well as saw lunch-ki-ratt again. and they also rocked. so ill be putting up(likely on the weekend) a post about the live in the news section as well as creating profiles for "Adam's apple and bob", and 夕焼けアフロ(yuuyake Afro).

Also i just wanted to say again that if anyone is interested in gettting ahold of cds for any of the bands i mention have them availiable e-mail me at monochrome-sekai@hotmail.com.  I don't make anything off of the transaction, and realistically at 500円ish a CD neither does the band, but its a cool way to hear some cool stuff that you otherwise never would.  And i do it because i love the soul that indie bands pour into their work regardless of the monetary profit to them, and want to help be a part in my own way, and everyone else can too by supporting local bands.

Also following this post i will be posting everything more or less bi-lingually, so if my japanese has a lot of mistakes bear with me...

Lunch-ki-ratt profile update

So I have been busy with  school, but today i wrote up a quick profile for the band lunch ki ratt which can be found here http://monochromesekai.herobo.com/Lunch-ki-ratt.php.  I'll update soon as i get word back from my friend about their cd, but check it out, check out their PV, and ill get to some of the others as i find time.  Also if you're in Tokyo they have a live at 新宿marble on the 23, and it should be good, the last time i saw them they were a pretty good time.

Hello~~

So i am just getting started, but my hope is to use this site to shine some light on the reeeeeeaaallly~~ underground Indie Rock that would otherwise never get any publicity out of relatively small social groups.

so just a quick intro about me.  I'm 21, and am currently Studying Japanese at the college in Oota, Kamata (a boring assed suburb between Shinagawa and Yokohama). My hobbies, are partying, traveling, and obviously music.  as far as music goes my current favorite bands are Maximum the hormone, Half-life, and Asian Kung-Fu Generation.  but I enjoy listening to almost anything.

Right now i only go to the local live house once or twice a month, but one i get a job (or set up a means of collecting donations... given I get any traffic, or intrest in what i have to offer...) I'll be sure to go see more lives in more than just my direct area, making me able to talk about more bands, and ultimately get permission to upload a song or two as promotion that will be available to download.  As well as help anyone who would like to purchase CDs or other merch either directly through places available online, or directly from the bands through me.  ill also be doing constant maintenance, but if you would like to reach me about anything my personal e-mail is monochrome-sekai@hotmail.com.
